Squirrel gardener

We have a squirrel that keeps visiting our garden. The woman who lives next door keeps leaving peanuts out for it and we keep finding peanut shells around, we also started to notice holes appearing in the soil in plant pots like the squirrel had been looking for something inside.
Recently, a couple of peanut plants started growing in the pots. Obviously the squirrel had been hiding the peanuts in there! Every now and again we spot the squirrel sneaking around the garden having a peek inside and trying to bury more peanuts.

I remember reading something about peanuts being easy to grow and was wondering if we could actually get some peanuts off the plants eventually, I found an amusing page about growing your own peanuts, I especially like the first line about not planting roasted peanuts because they won't grow haha.
