Right I'm still here, despite not having posted for a while!
It's very cold today. I am having to be very careful when I go over the railway bridge on the way to work because on Thursday I practically skated across it. Not on purpose, it was just very icy. I can see I'm going to end up on my backside if I'm not careful. Not that this is a problem because its nice to actually have a properly cold winter, I don't like those winters where its just mild and it doesn't feel like an actual winter. A bit like those summers when its just rainy (like this summer) and by the time it gets to autumn you just don't notice it. It just feels like the year isn't going anywhere. It's getting dark now, I suppose I should probably turn the light on.

Hello Biscuits, I just spent half an hour composing an elegy about our Cape seasons and then it vanished as I was about to send the comment. Firefox has developed some irritating new habits.
I remember skating along Finchley High Street in the dead of winter, black ice on the roads, and after the snow, the slush, bleagh.
But I miss a lot of other things and seasonal delights.
Be careful out there, and wrap up warm, eh?

Oh no that's annoying, I hate it when that happens, and it's just not quite the same when you have to write it again.
Hehe thanks I'll try my best not to have any slippery accidents. It must be pretty warm over there in Cape Town then? I've always wondered what it would be like to have a warm Christmas.
winters this year are likely to be bad everywhere.
It does seem to be a lot colder this year than last year that's for sure!
